Change Models
Select ONE of the organizational or behavioral change models which were used successfully for evidence-based practice change in healthcare for many years. Select ONE model or theory from the readings or lesson this week and:
1-List the steps or the components in the change model or theory.
2-Does the model or theory contain a component for appraising the evidence?

Principles of Research and Evidence-Based Practice

Evidence-Based Nursing Practice, and Quantitative and Qualitative Research Process","PICOT is utilized by the health care community to identify and study a nursing or medical practice problem. Consequently, PICOT examples that may provide insight into the use of the PICOT process, may not be relevant to nursing practice as they are based on a medical practice problem.

Complications of Cancer
Class the paper due this week focuses on cancer and asks you to discuss complications of cancer and the side effects of treatment. It is important that you differentiate between the two. Complications are caused by the cancer and not related to medication or treatment. Side effects are a result of treatment. To earn credit for one substantial reply, provide an example of a general complication caused by cancer and discuss the pathophysiology why it occurs. I do not want an essay on cancer. Class there are several types of treatments from cancer including surgery, radiation, various chemotherapies, immune therapy. Each has side effects, some for which the patient can apply interventions and some which require nursing or medical interventions.
